Jodie Jamieson

Jodie is the Managing Partner and the Leading Family Law Lawyer at GHL.

Jodie brings the energy and negotiating skills of an experienced Lawyer, sensitive to the needs of her clients and able to act as a skilled negotiator in their interests. She already has a wide range of interests in the law, but is adept and widely experienced in identifying and resolving the difficulties involved in Family Law matters, particularly with matters involving children and complex property matters.

Undertaking most advocacy in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, without the need for Counsel, Jodie presents experienced, cost effective and highly skilled representation to Family Law Clients. Raised and schooled in the Sutherland Shire, educated at the University of Wollongong and commencing her career with GHL, Jodie has gained a renowned reputation not only in the Shire, but throughout Greater Sydney.

Jodie is a caring and professional Lawyer confident in her knowledge of the law, and in her ability to protect and promote the interests of her clients. Jodie can expertly deal with each and every Family Law issue that may confront our clients, and is also experienced in Civil Litigation and Employment Law.

Jodie is admitted to practice in both the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of NSW.

In her spare time

Jodie enjoys travelling, cooking, supporting the Dragons and spending time with her husband and young sons. Jodie is also the President of Burraneer Junior Rugby Union Club and coaches as well.

Jodie also considers herself to be quite the comedian, and one day hopes she has the courage to try an Open Mic Night.

Jason Green

Jason is one of the Partners of GHL and is the Leading Lawyer in all Litigation, Insolvency and Taxation matters.

Jason routinely acts for clients in the following areas:

  • Taxation and debt disputes with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
  • Commercial law and litigation
  • Insolvency/bankruptcy advice and litigation
  • Commercial transactions
  • Coronial inquests

Through a background working in both the public sector for the ATO and private Law Firms, Jason brings a depth of experience in his areas of practice focusing primarily on Commercial Litigation, Insolvency and ATO disputes.

Jason is admitted to both the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of NSW. He appears regularly in the Supreme Court and Federal Courts. Jason also has vast experience in conducting Taxation Litigation and Tax Practitioners Board disputes in the Administrative Review Tribunal.

Taxation issues and ATO debt disputes can be a complicated and costly affair for clients.  Jason is able to assist clients in a timely and cost-effective manner. Drawing upon his experience at the ATO, Jason is intrinsically aware of the operations, Policies and Procedures of the ATO and has extensive contacts at his disposal to assist his clients to achieve a cost effective and favourable resolution to any disputes.

Jason has also represented clients in the Coroner’s Court with respect to coronial inquests. Such proceedings can be emotionally draining and difficult times for those involved, and Jason can guide clients through this process.

In his spare time

Jason is a passionate Burraneer Dolphins, Waratahs and Wallabies supporter and especially enjoys watching the games and coaching his young sons – all future Wallabies he believes! He also supports the Cronulla Sharks and is an avid snowboarder, still thinking he can hit jumps like he used to 20 years ago!

He has two young daughters (#girldad), and despite being a terrible standup paddleboarder you will often find him in Gunnamatta Bay or out and about with his family on weekends enjoying all that the Shire has to offer.
